You can cancel an appointment at any time based on a customer request, even if the scheduled appointment is scheduled to take place in less than 24 hours.
Please note that the appointment will be canceled if you press the 'Delete an Appointment' button, which will also result in a refund of the full invoice amount paid. However, this does not result in a refund of the commission for iBooknow to you.
This means that you will pay the full invoice amount from your Stripe account to the client, the commission paid to iBooknow will not be refunded to you. It should therefore be in your interest to offer your clients an alternative appointment. Rescheduling the appointment is free of charge as long as the appointment has not yet started.
We have designed our app in such a way that cancellation by the customer is possible at any time. However, if the scheduled appointment is in less than 24 hours, their credit card has already been charged.
When canceling, the customer is encouraged to read the text of the cancellation pop-up before they can actively cancel the appointment. The customer is informed that he will not receive the payment back within 24 hours before the planned appointment and should contact you via the chat function to rebook the appointment. If the customer nevertheless initiates the cancellation themselves by entering the word 'Cancel' and confirming the 'Yes, cancel' button, the payment will, as mentioned above, not be refunded.
If you cancel the appointment as part of your goodwill gesture, please note the point 'Cancellation of an appointment at the customer's request' above!
